Children love to copy what grown-ups do, and this wooden tea set lets them recreate a real everyday moment: pouring the tea, setting out the cups, offering an imaginary biscuit. This kind of pretend play sparks all sorts of game ideas and suits children from 3 years, in the spirit of Montessori toys. A toy that is happily shared with a parent, a friend or a visiting grandma.
The set includes a wooden tray and fourteen tea set pieces, enough to lay a pretty table for several guests and host proper tea parties for dolls and teddies. Because everything is made of wood, there is no water to spill and no china to break: the tea party stays creative without leaving a mess behind. This open-ended play, with no level to complete and no screen, lets your child invent a new story every time.
The pieces are made of finely sanded wood finished with non-toxic paint. Stacked on its tray, the set measures 29.3 x 17.5 x 7 cm and weighs 350 g, easy to keep on a bedroom shelf. To clean, wipe with a dry or damp cloth, and let it air dry if it comes into contact with liquid. A lovely gift idea for a birthday or for Christmas morning.
