As soon as your baby starts crawling and grabbing things, they can play with this object permanence box, a classic among Montessori-inspired toys. The idea is simple: they drop the wooden ball into the opening, it disappears into the box for a moment, then comes back out. A little game that toddlers love to repeat over and over again, and it is suitable from 6 months.
The game shows in a very concrete way that something you can no longer see is still there, just hidden. Your child watches, picks up the ball, places it in the hole and waits for it to return: a calm, screen-free game to play alone or with a parent sitting alongside. The movements are simple and the game makes sense straight away, which makes it easy to enjoy from the very first months.
The box and ball are made of wood with non-toxic paint. The set measures 25 x 12 x 8.8 cm and weighs 350 g, stable enough to stay put on the floor or a low table. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry straight away with a clean cloth, and avoid prolonged contact with liquids. The box contains one wooden box and one wooden ball, ready to play.
