A geoboard is a wooden board set with pegs over which you stretch coloured rubber bands to make shapes. Triangles, squares, houses, stars or free designs: your child pulls, hooks and combines the bands to create whatever they like. The pattern cards included give ideas for shapes to copy, and the marker lets them draw directly on the cards to come up with their own designs.
It can be played alone or with others. Between brothers and sisters, each can draw a card and try to recreate the pattern, or sketch a shape to set a challenge for the other. It is also a calm, screen-free activity to take on a trip, in the spirit of Montessori-inspired toys. The geoboard measures 17.8 x 17.8 x 2.5 cm and weighs 315 g, and the bag keeps the bands and cards together.
The geoboard is made of wood. To clean it, wipe with a dry cloth and avoid prolonged contact with liquids so that the wood stays in good condition. It is recommended from age 3.
