This wooden Christmas train offers two games in one. First, your child stacks the pieces onto the carriages to rebuild the load; then they pull the train along behind them around the house. The 16 wooden pieces come apart and go back together as many times as they like, in the spirit of Montessori-inspired toys: simple, screen-free and handled at your child's own pace.
To make playtime last even longer, you can mark out a track on the floor with tape, or make a little station and rails out of cardboard: the train then has a real route to follow, with stops to load and unload its pieces along the way. Assembled, it measures 24 x 14.5 x 9.5 cm and weighs 620 g, a good size for a toddler to push and pull around the room.
The train is made of wood. To clean it, wipe with a damp cloth and a mild soap, then dry straight away with a clean cloth; avoid prolonged contact with liquids so that the wood stays in good condition. It is recommended from age 1.
