This wooden Christmas puzzle brings together a board and fourteen painted wooden shapes with festive designs. The idea is simple: each piece has its own cut-out place on the board, and your child works out where it belongs. They can also take all the pieces out to play with, line them up on the table or make up little Christmas scenes before putting everything back in place. In the spirit of Montessori-inspired toys, it is played with no batteries and no screen.
The board measures 21.5 x 21.5 x 1.8 cm and the set weighs 410 g, a size that sits on a coffee table, a play mat or a bedroom shelf. The puzzle is made of painted wood with smooth surfaces and seasonal colours, and it naturally finds its place during Advent, next to the tree, keeping the youngest busy while the older ones decorate the house.
To clean it, wipe the board and the pieces with a damp cloth, without soaking them. The puzzle is recommended from age 2 and can be played alone or with an adult naming the designs as they go. Tucked under the tree or given as part of an Advent calendar, it makes a Christmas gift idea that comes out again every year along with the decorations.
