Making honey is a delicate job, and so is placing each bee in the cell of the right colour. In this wooden bee game, little beekeepers pick up the bees with a pair of tweezers and set them down one by one on the hive-shaped board. It is a precise movement that calls for concentration and patience, and it gets the eyes and hands working together as children carefully carry each bee across the board.
While playing, children learn to recognise colours, shapes and sizes, and they can invent their own rules as they go. The set contains one board, seven bees and one pair of tweezers. It measures 16.6 x 13.2 x 3.5 cm and weighs 310 g, a compact size that slips into a bag. The game is made of good-quality wood and is suitable for children aged 3 and up.
Set up on the living room rug, at a restaurant table or at a friend's house, it keeps children calmly occupied while you finish a task or enjoy a meal. To clean, use a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry straight away; avoid prolonged contact with water. A clever gift for children who are curious about nature, with no risk of a sting.
