This kitchen mat stays where you put it while you stand at the counter and cook: its non-slip rubber backing, which covers the full underside, stops it sliding or bunching up under your feet on tiles, laminate, vinyl and other hard floors. The ribbed polypropylene surface gives good grip and catches crumbs, water drops and cooking splashes before they spread across the kitchen floor and get walked through the house.
Three variants are offered, and it is worth reading the label carefully: the 50 x 80 cm mat on its own, ideal in front of the sink or the worktop; the 45 x 120 cm runner on its own, to run along the kitchen island or the cooker; or the set of two, which brings both sizes together for a larger work zone. Only the variant marked as a set of two includes both mats.
The contrasting edge is firmly stitched to limit fraying, and the slim profile slides under a door or along a cabinet without looking bulky. Care is straightforward: sweep away the crumbs or vacuum with the brush attachment, then wash the mat in the machine at 30 °C with a mild detergent and no bleach. Let it dry flat or over a drying rack, never in the tumble dryer, so that it keeps its shape.
