These surprise flying butterflies add a touch of magic to a greeting card, a gift or a book. The idea is very simple: wind up the butterfly by hand, slip it into a card or between the pages, and when the recipient opens it, the butterfly flutters up into the air. A small effect that makes children and adults smile at a birthday, a party or a carefully planned surprise for someone special.
The set contains 15 butterflies in 15 different designs and bright colours, so you can vary your surprises or put several in the same envelope for an even bigger effect. They are reusable: simply wind them up again to start over, as often as you like. You can also use them to decorate a gift box, an announcement card or a party invitation, for an unexpected effect the moment it is opened.
The butterflies are made of paper, measure 12 × 11 cm and weigh only 4.5 g each, so they slip easily into a standard card or envelope without making it heavier. They are an original idea to go with a birthday present, a declaration of love, a pregnancy announcement or simply a little note to brighten the day of someone who matters to you.
