This shredder knife is designed to cut a cabbage quickly into very thin strips, whether for coleslaw, homemade sauerkraut or kimchi. Its double blade gives you even slices or shreds in a single stroke, which noticeably speeds up preparation when you are cooking for the whole family or preparing a large batch of vegetables for preserving. No more spending long minutes slicing each leaf with an ordinary kitchen knife.
It is not limited to cabbage: it also slices lettuce, cucumber, carrot, potato, chilli, onion, apple or pear. The blades are made of stainless steel, with a raised edge that offers protection while cutting. The PP handle gives a firm grip that does not slip easily in the hand, and it ends in a hole so that you can hang the utensil on the wall or on a kitchen rail after use.
The smooth surface is simple to clean: rinse it with water, add a little washing-up liquid if needed, then let it dry before putting it away. The tool measures about 30 x 9 cm and takes up little space in a drawer or hanging from a kitchen rail.
