A hotel room, a holiday rental, a student room: this portable door lock goes with you wherever you sleep away from home. It is small enough to fit in a pocket or a handbag and takes up almost no room in your suitcase. Take it out in the evening, remove it in the morning, and it goes back into your travel pouch with the rest of your things.
The lock is made of precision-cast 304 stainless steel in black and measures about 8 x 1.5 cm. It is held by a threaded bolt with a wing nut, which keeps it firmly in position once fitted. Installation takes a few seconds and needs no tools: loosen the wing nut, put the hook into the strike plate of the door, close the door, then turn the wing upright and tighten the nut again. To remove it, simply loosen the nut and take the lock out.
It is suitable for use at home, in hotels, in student accommodation or while travelling, for travellers, students or anyone who stays on their own. Because it needs no drilling and no changes to the door, it also works in rented accommodation where you cannot fit anything permanent. The box contains one portable door lock, ready to use as soon as it arrives.
