This abstract-pattern bath mat brings a graphic touch to the bathroom. Its Nordic-inspired design, built from shapes and blocks of colour, breaks away from the usual plain mats and gives the room a more contemporary character, like a small artwork laid on the floor. It works just as well with pale tiles as in a darker shower room, taking on the role of the colour accent.
It is made from a polyester and acrylic blend, a material that is soft underfoot and keeps its body and its colours wash after wash. The non-slip backing grips the tiles and holds the mat in place as you step out of the shower or the bath, right where the floor is wet. For care, a run through the washing machine is all it needs: no special treatment, and it goes back in place once dry.
Three sizes are available to suit the layout of the room: 40 x 60 cm in front of a basin, 45 x 70 cm at the foot of the shower or 50 x 80 cm along a bathtub. The pattern comes in four dominant colours, red, yellow, blue or black, to match your towels or, on the contrary, to make a deliberate contrast. Laid in front of the basin or the shower, it also softens the first step onto cold tiles in the morning.
