When a thick comforter feels too heavy, this lightweight duvet insert takes over. It is made for the milder months, from spring into early autumn, and for heated rooms where a thinner layer is all you need. The filling sits lightly on the bed without weighing you down, and the surface stays smooth and pleasant to the touch, without the bulk you get from a winter duvet.
The filling is 150 GSM polyester fibre, a synthetic down alternative, wrapped in a soft microfibre shell. Box stitching keeps the fibre evenly spread across the whole surface, so it does not drift into one corner as the weeks go by. At the corners and along the sides, eight tabs let you tie it inside your duvet cover, which then stays neatly in place each time you make the bed in the morning.
You can use it inside a cover as a summer duvet, or on its own, laid over the bed like a large lightweight blanket. It also fits easily into a student room, a guest room or a deliberately simple bedding setup. Four sizes are available, from 140 x 200 cm for a single bed up to 229 x 264 cm for a large bed, so you can choose the size that covers your mattress the way you like it.
