The flexible gooseneck bends into whichever position suits you, while the sturdy table clamp and the adjustable phone holder keep your device exactly where you put it. Unscrew that holder and a standard fitting is revealed on the second arm.
That fitting takes a camera, a microphone or another accessory, depending on how you like to record. Power comes from a plain 5V USB cable measuring 1.3 metres, so there is no power brick to find and no battery to keep an eye on before you start.
