This glass teapot makes brewing loose-leaf tea simple and precise. The leaves rest in the upper filter; with one press of the button, the magnetic valve opens and the brewed tea flows down into the body of the pot. You stop the infusion at exactly the strength you like, with no over-steeping or bitterness, and you can re-steep the same leaves several times over, for a second or third cup.
The body is made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass, so you can watch the leaves unfurl and the colour of the tea develop. The stainless steel filter holds back even the finest leaves. The wooden handle gives a safe, comfortable grip, and the wood-finish lid completes the look. Both teapot and filter are dishwasher safe, for quick cleaning between one tea and the next, with no fiddly parts.
Two capacities are available: 520 ml for tea on your own or for two, 720 ml for entertaining. Its clear, uncluttered design sits well on a tea tray, a desk or a living-room table.
