This felt busy book takes the form of a small bag to carry around, with eight interactive pages inside. Letters, numbers, shapes, colours, animals, weather, dressing up, drawing boards: each page offers little mechanisms to handle, open, fasten or move, with a range of textures to discover with the fingertips. It is all designed in the spirit of Montessori-inspired activities.
Its compact format makes it easy to slip into a bag for a restaurant, a car journey, a visit to the grandparents or a quiet moment at home. The pages are removable: you can change their order or combine pages from several books to create a set of your own. It comes in three themes, dinosaur, unicorn and universe, each with its own illustrations and colours, so you can pick the one that matches your child's favourite subject.
The book is made of soft felt with strong bindings. Closed, it measures 22 x 28 x 5.5 cm and weighs 350 g. Spot cleaning is all it needs; it should not go in the washing machine. It is recommended from age 3. As with any toy that has small parts, keep an eye on younger children while they play, and store the book away from very small siblings.
