This cloud-shaped ceiling lamp seems to float just below the ceiling. Its organic silhouette is made from folded and pleated Japanese lamp paper, which lets through a soft, warm and even light. Switched on or off, it reads as a sculptural piece: a light white volume that softens the lines of a living room, bedroom or hallway, and that suits a pared-back interior as well as a warmer scheme with wood and linen.
The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket, one of the most common types. That means you are free to choose the LED bulb that suits you, depending on the light colour you want: a warm white for a dimmed atmosphere in the evening, or a more neutral white for a room people pass through. The paper spreads the light across the whole surface of the cloud, without a harsh bright spot or direct glare.
The ceiling lamp comes in three sizes: 43 cm for a small bedroom or a corridor, 62 cm for a medium-sized room, and 85 cm for a living area or a high ceiling, where it becomes the centrepiece of the space. It is available in white, a shade that brings out the relief of the pleated paper and reflects the light evenly across the room.
