This wildlife observation camera straps to a tree or post and records whatever passes in front of it, day and night. It takes 12 MP photos and records 1080P HD video with audio, letting you document animal activity in a garden, a forest or along a field edge without having to be there yourself. A 2.0-inch TFT screen lets you set up the camera and review the footage right there in the field.
At night, its 38 no-glow infrared LEDs light the scene without any visible glow, so the animals are not disturbed by the device. The motion sensor triggers in 0.7 seconds and detects movement up to roughly 10 m away; on each trigger the camera takes 1 to 3 photos, depending on the setting you choose. Video clips include sound, so you can pick out calls and footsteps as well as the images themselves.
The housing is IP66 weatherproof and operates from -20°C to 60°C, staying on duty through rain, snow and dust. The camera comes with a mounting strap, a USB cable for transferring files to a computer and a user manual.
