This wooden tissue box is built around something babies love doing: pulling tissues out one by one, putting them back, opening and closing the box, then starting all over again. Inside are three brightly coloured cloth tissues and four wooden shapes, large enough for small hands, which your baby takes out, feels and puts away at their own pace. Every time they pull a tissue, a new surprise appears, a little like a game of peekaboo.
The box works without batteries, without sounds and without flashing lights: the textures, shapes and colours are the whole game. It measures 12.5 x 14 x 13.4 cm and weighs only 330 g, so it is easy to set down on the play mat, take along on a visit or bring out during a nappy change. You can hand it to your baby to explore alone, or play together and name each shape as it comes out of the box.
The box and the shapes are made of painted wood, and the tissues are made of cloth. To clean it, wipe the wooden parts with a dry cloth; the tissues are washable. The toy is recommended from age 1. It makes a gift idea for a new arrival, a baby shower or a first birthday, in the spirit of simple Montessori-inspired toys, to give from parents, grandparents or friends.
