This wooden shape puzzle takes its cue from the tangram, the Chinese puzzle invented more than two centuries ago. With just seven pieces, your child recreates the figures shown on the cards: an animal, an object, a character. It is a calm, screen-free game that can be played alone at the table or together with others, and it suits children from 3 years, in the spirit of Montessori toys.
The set includes 25 double-sided cards, giving 50 patterns to copy, so there is plenty of variety for a long time. Once the patterns have been mastered, your child can also invent their own figures and show them off to the whole family. The pieces are made of painted wood with smooth edges, the cards of card paper, and everything fits back into the storage box, so no piece goes missing between games.
Being compact, the game measures 17.5 x 12.5 x 3 cm and weighs 285 g: it slips easily into a bag for a car journey, a weekend at the grandparents' or a meal out at a restaurant. To clean, wipe the wooden pieces with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry them straight away, and avoid prolonged contact with liquids. The cards should only be spot cleaned with a damp cloth.
