This squirrel-proof bird feeder puts an end to a familiar frustration for anyone who enjoys watching birds: seed that vanishes before the tits and sparrows have had their share. The secret is a rotating perch that starts to turn as soon as anything heavier than a bird lands on it. The squirrel loses its balance and cannot reach the seed, while the small visitors carry on feeding undisturbed.
The large reservoir holds a generous amount of seed, so you do not have to keep topping it up. The wide opening makes filling and cleaning easy, even if you have never used a feeder before. With four feeding ports and a round perch, several birds can eat at the same time without disturbing each other, which makes for a lovely scene in your garden. Because the seed stays out of reach of squirrels, there is also less waste and less seed scattered on the ground below.
The feeder is built from heavy-duty metal with a weather-resistant coating, combined with a polycarbonate seed reservoir. It hangs easily from a branch, a hook or a garden pole. You can fill it with any seed mix you like, with no restrictions, so there is no need to buy separate feeders for different kinds of bird food. A practical way to welcome birds to your garden all year round.
