Sputnik Mid-Century Iron Ceiling Light, E27 Sockets

This Sputnik ceiling light draws its inspiration from mid-century design. Its radiating metal arms form a timeless starburst silhouette that catches the eye from every angle and adds depth, movement and character to the room. It spreads wide, even light, well suited to living rooms and bedrooms with a standard ceiling height, across an area of around 10 to 15 m².

Its structure is low in height: 28 cm for the 4-light version and 20 cm for the 6 and 8-light versions, with a diameter of 63 cm and 70 cm respectively. This gives you the impact of a chandelier without taking up space overhead. The standard E27 sockets leave you free to choose your own bulbs, which are not included: filament bulbs, frosted globes or smart bulbs, in a warm tone for a bedroom or a crisper white for a living room.

The frame is made of sturdy iron, and the fixture is surface-mounted on the ceiling; it is delivered disassembled and needs to be put together. It runs on 90 to 260 V. The black, gold, white, black and gold or white and gold finishes suit Nordic, mid-century, industrial and contemporary interiors, from understated lines to bolder contrasts. Gold adds warmth, black brings a contemporary contrast and white gives a light, Scandinavian-inspired note.
