Sensory play is a lovely way for babies to discover the world around them. This soft fabric book is full of varied textures, contrasting colours and crinkly sounds to explore with little fingers while having fun. Every page is a small surprise to touch, look at and listen to, something your baby can handle alone or with you, comfortably settled on the play mat.
The pages are soft, with no hard edges and no small detachable parts, perfect for tiny hands. Four themes are available: dinosaurs, jungle, farm and ocean. Even though your baby is still a long way from knowing all these animals, they will enjoy the sound of your voice as you tell the story. It is a wonderful way to build a bedtime routine and explore shapes and colours together page by page.
This book stands up to plenty of handling by your baby and to trips through the washing machine on a gentle setting. Light at just 50 g and measuring 14 x 18 x 3 cm, it slips into a changing bag and makes an ideal travel companion for the very youngest. Suitable from birth and made from soft polypropylene cotton, it is also an original baby shower gift that few people think of.
