Noah and his ark, Moses parting the sea, David facing Goliath: this felt book brings together stories from the Old Testament in a format that fits on a toddler's lap. Each of the seven pages stages a different story, with movable pieces, flaps to lift and details to handle. Your child listens to the story, but they also bring it to life with their hands, page after page, at their own pace and without a screen.
Jonah and the whale and Daniel among the lions are in there too, stories your child can retell in their own words once they know them well. The book is made entirely of soft felt, with no batteries. Closed, it measures 25 x 22.5 x 8 cm, a size that slips into a bag for a car journey, a trip away or a visit to the grandparents, and that can be explored alone or together with an adult.
To clean it, wipe the book with a damp cloth; for stains, use a mild soap and water, then let it air dry completely before the next read. It is recommended from age 2. With its fabric pages and figures to move around, it makes a gift idea for a christening, a first Christmas or a birthday.
