This bear-shaped dog toy is designed for the companions who reduce ordinary plush toys to shreds within days. It is made from chew-resistant nylon and rubber, materials chosen to stand up to powerful jaws, where most shop-bought plush toys, made from fabrics never intended for dogs, tear quickly and scatter their stuffing all over the house. The strong embroidery and reinforced stitching hold the pieces together session after session, for a toy that keeps its shape far longer. Hidden inside is a large squeaker: the sound it makes catches the dog's attention, draws it back to the toy and keeps the game going, alone or with you. The bear measures around 20.5 cm wide by 25.5 cm high, a size that suits a medium-sized dog as well as a large one.
Care is kept simple: the toy goes in the washing machine on a normal cycle and can then go in the dryer, so you get a clean bear back after a muddy outing. It comes in blue or pink, so two dogs in the same house can each have their own. As with any pet toy, let your dog play under your supervision and take the toy away if it starts to come apart.
